Graduated from the Advanced Mediation Workshop at Harvard University, Karen has an extensive practice in all types of mediation.

Karen is a committee member on General, Family and Commercial Mediation of the Hong Kong Mediation Council, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). She has received the International Accredited Professional Mediator title from the Mainland-Hong Kong Joint Mediation Centre and obtained TQUK Level 3 Award in Mediation Practice (RFQ) from the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), UK. She also holds the Civil Commercial Mediator's qualification from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

She is appointed as a Family Mediation Panel Member of the Hong Kong Family Court (Family Mediation Co-ordinator’s Office), Panel Member of the Hong Kong Bar Association List of Mediators and Mentor Mediator of the Joint Mediation Helpline Office (JMHO) Mediator Mentorship Scheme, Hong Kong. Karen is also an experienced mediation coach for various programmes and institutions.

Since 2015, Karen has been appointed as a Family Mediator of the Hong Kong Catholic Marriage Advisory Council, offering pro bono family mediation services to the general public.

Karen is a committee member of YMG in CIArb (EAB). She has served as counsel in arbitrations.
