I have over 26 years’ experience working in the construction industry specifically in civil engineering, gas pipelines, water pipelines, waste to energy processing plants, wastewater treatment works, motorway and road construction, rail, windfarms, education, healthcare, retail, commercial and residential.

My professional qualifications include FRICS, FCIArb and MCIOB. As a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor having demonstrated my ability to manage all commercial aspects of a construction project at the most senior levels. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, I have been trained and tested in Alternative Dispute Resolution to a globally recognised high standard. As Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders, I am a Chartered Construction Manager having demonstrated my ability to manage the construction of projects from inception to completion.

I am qualified as a Construction Adjudicator, and I am a panel member of a number of adjudication nomination boards. I am also a certified Expert Witness and have given evidence in the High Court in Northern Ireland

I am currently the Managing Director of a Quantity Surveying company, which is regulated by the RICS, and which provide quantity surveying, project management and contract management services, along with forensic quantum analysis, expert witness reporting and party representation in adjudication proceedings. I have held this role for over 14 years.

I have held the role of Operations Director in a civil engineering construction company, and I have also held the role of Managing Director of a house building construction company.
