I am a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Manager, European Engineer and enjoy Fellow membership of the Institute of Engineering Technology (formerly The Institution of Electrical Engineers), The Institute of Measurement & Control, The Safety & Reliability Society and the Chartered Management Institute. I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. I am also a TUV Certified Functional Safety Expert in both Safety Instrumented Systems and Process Hazard and Risk Analysis. I am also a non-practising Barrister at Law and specialise in Company, Health & Safety Law and Civil / Commercial dispute resolution. I was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2010. I possess almost forty years experience in production, engineering, technology and construction in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utility and Power Generation industries. I have actively participated at various levels in projects with capital values of less than £50K GBP to major international infrastructure developments in excess of $24 Billion USD. My responsibilities have included working as Acting Project Director, Acting Country Manager, Acting Operations Director, Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager and Lead & Principal Engineer with full management accountability for over one hundred personnel. I have also undertaken legal due diligence, acquisition determination and dispute resolution roles involving multi-jurisdictional parties including acting as COMPANY representative on contracts with capitals values of several hundred million USD.
