Fakhar-un-Nisa is Country Manager at Hill International, an American construction consulting firm where she leads her team and provides advisory, construction management, procurement & contract administration, dispute avoidance, management and resolution services.
She is the first and so far only female civil engineer from Pakistan with dual qualification in engineering and law. She is experienced and accomplished professional both in the role of senior management as well as in Procurement, pre- and post Contract Administration.
She is leading the charge as a focal person for the Company's operations in Pakistan for Hill int’l, achieving sustainable growth of company's operations.
Her proven background includes recognition as a Procurement and Bid/Tender Specialist on national and international projects funded by World Bank, Asian Development Bank and the Local Government.
During her career, she has contributed to mega scale projects of national importance through her technical and commercial knowledge. Experience of Contract Administration and strong understanding of Dispute Resolution has also played a crucial role in maintaining transparency and accountability in the management of these projects and had a great impact on socio-economical conditions of the country.
Active participant in Seminars, workshops, training programs in construction industry and ADR.
