Job Title: Chartered Valuation Surveyor

I am a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer specialising in the valuation of healthcare property, largely trading concerns, developments and investments. I am also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Expert Witness). I studied Real Estate at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at UCEM Reading, both before and after qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor. I also have a Certificate in Business Valuation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

I am Cushman & Wakefield's healthcare lead for the north region, although my work is nationwide covering care homes for the elderly, specialist care facilities, private hospitals and retirement living. I advise many of the largest health and social care providers, public sectors, not-for-profits, major banks/lenders, recovery agents, developers and global investors such as hedge funds, REITs and private equity.

I also dedicate time working for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). I regularly assess and chair APC and associate assessments in the valuation, commercial and residential pathways. My experience is predominantly in the U.K, although I occasionally assess for Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. I additionally work as an RICS Appeal lead assessor and provide consultancy work for external APC training firms.
