Dan is currently a PhD Student at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, working on the link between investment regulation (including dispute settlement) and sustainable development in Africa in general and the OHADA Region in particular.
He holds an LL.M. (Hons.) in International Business Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles, an LL.B. Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Africa Nazarene University (Kenya), and various certificates: Certificate in International Private Law (The Hague Academy of International Law), Certificate in Sustainable Development and Human Rights Law (University of Antwerp) & Certificat en Droit Continental (Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas).
As an international business and OHADA laws expert, he is often consulted by various entities (e.g. MERCALEX consulting firm, etc.) operating in the OHADA and East African regions, with respect to Amicable/Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) generally.
