Currently working as Associate Director / Senior Commercial Manager with AECOM Middle East Limited in the UAE. I have done MSc in Quantity Surveying from the UK’s
Heriot Watt University. Am a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).


Having 30 years working experience in the field of contracts/commercial/claims management and quantity surveying in the built environment. Invested invested my professional life in the UAE and Pakistan and has acted for different players in the construction arena including contractors, construction supervision consultants and project management consultants. My experience primarily focuses on post-contract administration of re-measured, lump sum and cost-plus construction contracts. Having a sound knowledge of FIDIC and CESMM and other bespoke forms of contracts and methods of measurements commonly used in the UAE.

Key skills include effective management of cost control, variations, claims & disputes and providing sound advice on complex contractual/commercial issues like dispute resolution, contract termination, liquidation of bonds as well as providing fact witness statements from a contractual/commercial perspective at arbitration.
