Ken is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on art law, tax, and valuation. He is a member of the Arbitration pool for the Court of Arbitration for Art at the Hague. Ken’s law practice has included arbitration and mediation since 2007. Ken has practiced in the both Canada and the United States. Ken is in the final stages of completing a Diploma in Art Law at the Institute of Art and Law based in London, England. He is a frequent speaker and has published internationally on issues related to tax, valuation and alternative dispute resolution.

Ken is a co-leader of the DC Bar’s Global Legal Services Committee and a member of the legal committee of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. Ken has participated as a judge at American Bar Association events, and has conducted training as program director at the Osgoode Hall Expert Valuation Witness programs.

Ken has completed the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation and the Osgoode Hall Law School Certificate in Adjudication. He is licensed to practice law in Washington DC, Ontario, Florida, Maryland, New York, US Tax Court and the US Supreme Court. He was Board Certified in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario from 2014 to 2020.
