Job Title: Contracts and Claims Director

Areas of Expertise:

Since graduation, I have been working in the private construction industry. I have vast experience in contracts management (including tender negotiations, change order & claim preparations, proper execution of the contracts, subcontracting, and dispute resolution etc.) and project management. I’m familiar with various types of contracts and have worked with various clients from USA, UK, Korea, Bahrein, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Latvia etc. mostly for EPC projects regarding to industrial facilities.
20 years of project and contract management experience regarding large scale EPC Construction Contracts.
• Experience in Project Management in EPC contracts
• Experience in Contract Management in EPC contracts
• Experience in Dispute Resolution
• Experience in follow up the budget and the project schedule in accordance with the contract
• Experience in Change Order/Variation Management
• Experience in Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA) and Claim Management in EPC contracts
• Follow up contractual matters during the project execution and prepare the necessary contractual correspondences in compliance with the contract documents,
• Prepare the REAs and/or claims with the assistance of the legal and consulting companies including schedule/programme analysis, delay analysis to be derived from the critical path of the baseline schedule, lost productivity, delay and disruption analysis,
• Negotiate and settle the claims.
• Experience with The Armed Board of Contract Appeals (ABSCA) and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).Ongoing Dispute Adjudication process in London for a large scale power plant project (act as a party representative).
• Experience in contract negotiation, preparation of various kinds of Contracts (Works, Engineering Services, Goods)
• Experience in Subcontract Management
• Experience in Contract Termination
• Experience with US Army & OBO codes, COE specs, NEC and FIDIC
• Experience in quality assurance and quality control
• Experience in tender preparations and the management plan
• Experience in design management including HEPPs, hydraulic structures, substructures and superstructures
