Aspiring Full Member, London Maritime Arbitrators Association. Member and panel arbitrator with AIAC, FOSFA, GMAA, HKIAC, MIArb. PORAM, SCMA, SIAC and SIArb. Accredited expert witness with the Academy of Experts and The Baltic Exchange (BEWA). Formerly BEWA’s Far East Representative in Singapore. Founder and Principal Surveyor at JCP Marine in 1990, providing marine and technical services to insurers, oil and chemical majors, charterers and shipowners. First generation inspector under the CDI and SIRE inspection programmes. Senior CDI Inspector for Marine and Terminals; accredited
for all CDI ship types – chemical, LPG, LNG, oil tankers and bulk carriers. Auditing OCIMF SIRE and terminal inspector. P&I and H&M surveyor. TMSA and management auditor. Cargo expediter
and loss control expert for all liquid cargoes since 1987. Cadet to Master on crude, product/chemical tankers, bulk carriers, general cargo ships, container carriers and offshore drilling/survey vessels with Reardon Smiths & Sons, Canadian Pacific, Mobil Shipping, Denholm’s, Furness Withy and BP.
