Areas of Expertise:

1. I have been placed in the approved panels of Arbitrators (Retired Railway Officers (Senior Admin. Grade & above)) of Southern, South Central, South Western & Western Railways, Integral Coach Factory, Rail Wheel Factory, Central Organisation for Railway Electrification & Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India and appointed to Arbitral Tribunals since July, 2017, as Presiding Arbitrator on 6, as Sole Arbitrator on 3 and as Co-Arbitrator on 8 cases. so far. I have published awards in 15 cases.
2. I am a member of the Dispute Board (Sole) appointed by Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., Mumbai.
3. I took voluntary retirement from Indian Railways Service, while serving as Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer, South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, from 1st Jan 2009, after serving in IR for about 29 years.
4. I had functioned as consultants to L&T Constructions, Chennai for three years and McML Systems, Australia and McML Systems India, Bangalore for two and half years.
5. Domain experience of 35 years is made up of 21 years of Construction/Project Management, 9 years of Operations & Maintenance and 5 years of General Management.
6. I am a Fellow of Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (UK), Life Member of Confederation of Engineers (India), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and Life member of Institute of Railway Signal & Telecommunication Engineers (India).
7. Proficiency in Contract Management, evaluation of tender bids, negotiations, contract finalization, closure, MS Office and Arbitration are my key skills.
