Danyal studied architecture at University College Dublin and is a practising registered architect and Senior Associate at Bluett & O'Donoghue. In addition to his architectural qualifications, Danyal has a Diploma in Corporate Law & Governance from the Law Society of Ireland, a Diploma in Arbitration from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Construction Law and Practice from Salford University.
Danyal is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators where he also serves as Committee Member of the Ireland branch. He holds a position as RIAI representative on the Liaison Committee for the Construction Industry and is a member of the RIAI Contracts Drafting Group and the RIAI Panel of Arbitrators, Conciliators, Mediators and Adjudicators.
He has worked on large scale commercial projects both in Ireland and Australia with extensive experience in public works and healthcare projects. He also conducts CPD-accredited lectures in public procurement and is an external examiner in the UCD School of Architecture Diploma in Professional Practice.
