Job Title: Manager - Commercial (Quantity Survey and Claim)

Areas of Expertise:

Accountability as Dispute Resolver and Legal Associate in Contracts and Legal Dispute Resolution Department:
• Liaise with Employer representative, Consultants, Contractor (i.e - Stakeholders) and all the parties to settle down the variations and claims including final account amicably.
• Advise the parties on techniques for Conflict and Dispute Avoidance in the construction projects
• In the event of failure of amicable settlement and a dispute is contemplated, follow the contractual procedures to notify the parties in compliance with the Conditions of the Contract.
• Render the Commercial and Contractual advise and represent the parties in Dispute Resolution Techniques such as Negotiation, Mediation, Conciliation, Neutral Evaluation, Expert Determination, Adjudication, DAB prior to formal Arbitration and Litigation.
• Represents as Quantum and Cost Analyst in the disputes and playing the role of Witness Statement in alternative disputes resolution processes.
• Actively participating in procedural meetings, hearing for Timetable of arbitral proceedings and preparation of Statement of Claim, Statement of Defence and Counter Claim, and its Rejoinder.
• Liaise with Legal Advocates and Experts for drafting the letters, notices, narrative for SOC/SOD&CC etc and justification of claims.
• Support the Counsel and party to rise dissolve the issues with Jurisdictional Challenge.
