08 Jan 2021

The 2021 edition of the Fox Williams/Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Vis Pre-Moot will be held between 26 - 28 February 2021. This will be the first year that the Pre-Moot will be held virtually, and CIArb is calling for volunteers from our vast network to sit as arbitrators to help make this event a success.

CIArb members interested in volunteering as an arbitrator for this Pre-Moot, please email an expression of interest to premoot@ciarb.org along with a brief CV by Sunday 7 February. To be accepted as a volunteer a CV must be included.

The general moot rounds will take place on 27 February, with the final rounds held on 28 February 2021. The Pre-Moot will be preceded by a panel debate for practitioners and team coaches on the topics presented in the moot problem, hosted by Fox Williams, on the afternoon of 26 February 2021. This year’s Pre-Moot boasts its largest group of participants, with participation by 20 teams from around the globe. As a result, 120 arbitrators are needed to conduct the hearings.
