Supporting you

Supporting you

At Ciarb, we play a critical role in connecting, training and equipping alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professionals globally with the skills, tools, and insights to resolve disputes constructively using appropriate mechanisms other than litigation.

Our world is not one-size-fits-all and neither are we. Flexibility is at the heart of everything we do. This ensures that you can make an impact right from the very start.

Supported by a focused team, you will apply your expertise, broaden your horizons, and grow personally and professionally whilst promoting Ciarb’s charitable objectives.

Our values

Our culture is based on trust and respect. Together with your colleagues, you will help make a difference to Ciarb and its mission. We will work together to deliver the best outcomes for members and Ciarb and take pride in the impact and quality of our work.

We commit to being Accountable, Innovative, Collaborative, Inclusive and Impactful.

These values have been developed by our people and support us to deliver Ciarb’s brand values, which are: Confident and Inspiring, Thoughtful and Future-focused, and Inclusive and Human.

Flexible Working

Our full-time employees are contracted to work 35 hours per week. We offer a range of flexible working patterns, where possible, to assist with a work/life balance.

We welcome applications from people wishing to work on a part-time or job-share basis. We also operate a flexitime scheme that allows staff to alter their start and finish times and take hours back that they have accrued. We are happy to discuss flexible working from day one.

Equality and diversity

We welcome enquiries from everyone and value diversity in our workplace. We have a commitment to promoting diversity. Developing a workplace environment where all staff are treated with dignity and respect is central to our recruitment process.

We encourage all applicants to complete our Equal Opportunities Monitoring form provided with all application packs, to support us in delivering upon our equality programme.

Disability Confident Committed

As a Disability Confident Committed Employer, we have committed to ensuring that our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible.

We will offer an interview to disabled people who meet the minimum criteria for the job and support any reasonable adjustments required.

We also support existing staff who may have a disability or long-term health condition to enable them to stay in work.

Investors in People

Investors in People have presented us with the We invest in people, standard accreditation.

Fundamentally, accreditation means principles and practices, around supporting people are in place and everyone understands how to use them to make work better!

We are proud to have this recognition as an employer and to be part of a community of organisations that understand the value of people.
