Trustee Election: Middle-East/North African and Indian subcontinent
Ciarb is pleased to announce that an election will be held in April/May in the Middle-East/Indian Sub-Continent (MENA) region. Details of the candidates are listed below:
Middle-East Indian Sub-Continent (one vacancy):
- Fatimah Balfaqeeh FCIArb (Ciarb UAE branch)
- Saad Hagazy FCIArb (Ciarb Qatar branch)
- Nikhat Khan FCIArb (Ciarb UAE branch)
- Leonora Riesenburg FCIArb (Ciarb UAE branch)
Members in the MENA region will receive a voting link on 18 April 2024, by email. If for some reason you have difficulty receiving email or have not provided Ciarb with an email address and require printed papers, please contact governance@ciarb.org in the first instance.
Please ensure you have paid your 2024 annual subscription ahead of this date in order to be eligible to vote. Voting will close at 17:00 GMT on 20 May 2024.
The successful candidate will be announced once the votes have been verified.

The Board of Trustees comprises Elected and Appointed Trustees with the President attending as an ex officio non-voting member
The Institute's Standing Committees, Boards and Sub-Committees are responsible for achieving the object and charitable purposes of the Institute on a global basis.
The Board of Trustees has the power to publish a report of any action taken by the Institute against, or in connection, with a member; pursuant to the Schedule to the Bye-Laws of CIArb.
The Trustees' Annual Report and Accounts provide an overview of activity in that year.
Ciarb publishes, from time to time, additional documentation to support its governance.
