Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators will be held online at 16:00 hours UK time on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.

Trustee Elections 2026

Ciarb is pleased to announce the candidates standing for election to its Board of Trustees in 2026, representing the Africa, East Asia, Great Britain and Middle East/Indian Sub-continent regions.
The candidates standing for election in each region are listed below.

Candidates standing for election

Africa

Two candidates are standing for election:

East Asia

Five candidates are standing for election:

Great Britain

Six candidates have been nominated:

Voting

Voting will open on 2 November 2026, when eligible voting members will receive a link to the online voting platform, together with access to candidate information and supporting statements to help inform their decision.
Voting will close on 30 November 2026, with the results expected to be announced in early December, following ratification.

How to vote

The elections will be administered by Ciarb's independent election scrutineer, Civica.

 

Eligible voting members in the relevant regions will receive voting instructions directly when the ballot opens on 2 November 2026.

 

Members will be able to review the candidates' supporting statements before casting their votes electronically.

 

Ciarb encourages all eligible members to participate in the elections and help shape the future leadership and governance of the Institute.
