Don MacIntyre

Don is Chief Executive Officer of Ciarb, the world's leading professional body for dispute resolution. He leads the organisation's global strategy and operations, working closely with members, trustees, volunteers and partners to advance the practice of arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution worldwide.

As CEO, Don is responsible for organisational performance, membership growth, professional standards and ensuring Ciarb continues to deliver value and support to its international community.

Don joined Ciarb as Interim CEO in March 2025 and was appointed permanent CEO in April 2026. He brings extensive leadership experience from membership organisations and professional bodies. Prior to joining Ciarb, he served as Chief Executive of the Personal Finance Society and Interim CEO of the UK Cyber Security Council, where he led significant organisational growth, strategic development and transformation initiatives.
