Personal bio
Oluwatoyosi Abikoye is a qualified legal practitioner and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), with experience in dispute resolution, corporate legal advisory, and governance reform. She has supported employment-related disputes, contract negotiations, and facilitated mediation in administrative and public sector contexts.
Currently a PhD researcher in maritime boundaries and ocean governance law at NOVA School of Law in Lisbon, Oluwatoyosi explores how international legal frameworks and institutional practice shape resource cooperation and dispute resolution at sea. She has contributed to research on local community development and worked alongside government tribunals. She remains committed to expanding access to justice through sustainable and inclusive dispute resolution.
