Michael has over 30 years international experience, including board and executive level roles, across the real estate and built environment sectors.
He is a chartered surveyor and experienced expert arbitrator, adjudicator, mediator, expert determiner, party representative, dispute resolution advisor, and expert witness.
His practice has two primary areas of focus:
- Advisory services supporting the delivery of real estate and infrastructure assets; and,
- The resolution of construction and real estate project legal and commercial issues including: complex disputes; project issue identification, resolution, and turnaround; party representation; and, settlement negotiations.
He is specialised in real estate development, infrastructure, project & construction management and construction law, with a focus on the merit and impact of complex technical, commercial & contractual issues in international real estate and infrastructure disputes including consideration of complex development and partnering agreements, lease and sales agreements, hospitality and retail agreements, government investment/ development agreements, and supplier agreements.
His international experience includes major projects across the GCC, North Africa, India, Singapore, United Kingdom and Australia.
