Personal bio
Yeşim Bezen is a solicitor of England and Wales and a fellow of the Institute. She is a native German, English and Turkish speaker and has full proficiency in French. She has studied politics, international relations and law (including international law) in Germany, France and England.
Ms. Bezen is a founding partner of Bezen & Partners. She heads the finance, energy and infrastructure practice group of the firm. She is a frequent speaker at conferences, has held teaching positions and publishes regularly.
Ms. Bezen worked in the asset, structured and project finance department of Clifford Chance LLP in London advising on banking, structured finance and project finance until co-founding Bezen & Partners in 2007.
Ms Bezen is involved in major finance, energy and infrastructure work, spanning from renewables to nuclear, from transport to social infrastructure. She is involved in arbitration and cross-border litigation cases and is listed as arbitrator at KCAB International, Centre for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration (CIICA), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre (WIPO), London Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation (LCAM), Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC), Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris (CAIP), Delos Dispute Resolution, Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA), German Arbitration Institute (DIS), and Centro Internacional de Arbitraje de Madrid – Centro Iberoamericano de Arbitraje (CIAM)
