Personal bio
I have over 30 years’ experience in international development in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Oceania as Senior Adviser, Team Leader and Consultant for Development Partners, UN agencies, consultancy firms and international NGOs. I have worked in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams in developmental, humanitarian and emergency settings including civil society coordination, policy-making, capacity-building, and monitoring and evaluation. I recently took a career break to successfully study for an LL.M in international law, including corporate governance, human rights law and International Humanitarian Law. I undertook an internship with a major law firm in Nairobi and worked as a court volunteer in the Channel Islands. I have undertaken courses in mediation through CIArb. I hold a Doctorate in Public Administration and Development Management, and also an MA in Education. I welcome opportunities to be involved in ADR in domestic and human rights settings nationally and internationally including remote working.
