Personal bio

Khaled Bedaiwi is an international arbitration practitioner with over 16 years of experience, and a fellow of the CIArb. He routinely serves as arbitrator in local and international disputes under various regional rules, in multiple jurisdictions (UAE, KSA, Bahrain, DIFC etc...).

Khaled has studied and trained in both civil and common law jurisdictions, and is a licensed attorney admitted before all court in Bahrain. His legal practice is focused on commercial, construction, real estate, and insurance matters. Prior to his admittance to the bar, Khaled worked as a case manager and tribunal secretary at the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution where he received extensive training and experience in arbitration and ADR.

Khaled has a strong foundation in arbitration procedural laws in multiple jurisdictions, and best practices in the management of international arbitration disputes. Khaled prides himself in his methodical approach to the analysis of large complicated legal and factual disputes, attention to detail, and efficient case management.

Khaled is fluent in both English and Arabic, and holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, a CIArb Diploma in International Maritime Arbitration , and a CIArb Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration.
