Attorney at law admitted to practise in Estonia, specialising in cross-border litigation and private international law, and actively developing expertise in international commercial arbitration.

He represents private clients in complex multi-jurisdictional disputes before the courts, developing and implementing litigation strategies, formulating legal arguments, and drafting and arguing procedural motions.

He has extensive experience in civil proceedings involving public international law issues, including the validity of transactions authenticated by foreign consular officers and the application by national courts of treaties, including legal assistance treaties.

He also represents clients in international child abduction proceedings under the 1980 Hague Convention and has achieved favourable outcomes, including landmark rulings by the Supreme Court of Estonia.

His practice further includes the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, as well as acting as an expert on Estonian law in foreign court proceedings, including in the United States and Latvia.

He also has sound knowledge of industry-specific laws and regulations in the oil and coal sectors.
