Personal bio
I am a construction and engineering professional with over 30 years of international experience in contract management, dispute resolution, and major programme delivery across Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. My career spans public and private sector organizations and complex infrastructure environments, with particular expertise in rail and utilities megaprojects delivered under a broad range of international contract models.
I currently serve as Bid Director with Amico Major Projects in Toronto, leading major infrastructure bids across Canada. Previously, as Commercial Vice President at Metrolinx, I was responsible for commercial oversight across the GO Rail Expansion portfolio within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
Prior to this, I was engaged by Dragados Canada Inc. to lead the $5.5B Ontario Line – Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel Contract bid. In Montréal, I also led the utilities and enabling works components of the $1.96B Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge reconstruction project bid. Earlier in my career, I served as Head of Property Programme for FirstGroup plc in London, managing a £587M construction programme.
Since 1998, I have delivered complex infrastructure programmes across the UK, including work on High Speed 2, Crossrail, and London Underground.
In parallel with executive delivery roles, I have developed specialist expertise in construction dispute resolution, with a focus on complex engineering disputes, contractual interpretation, commercial risk allocation, and concurrent delay analysis. My experience spans claims preparation and defence, expert interface, evidentiary review, and strategic dispute management within major project environments.
I am a Fellow and Chartered Professional Engineer (FIEAust CPEng) with the Engineers Australia, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with the Project Management Institute.
