Advocate Babar Lashari MCIArb

Babar Lashari is a Pakistan-based legal professional with experience in dispute resolution, arbitration and mediation, corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, aviation, energy, construction, insurance, pharmaceutical regulation, and civil litigation. He has advised both domestic and international clients across a range of complex legal and commercial matters.

His professional experience includes counselling on arbitration and mediation matters, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, cross-border transactions, intellectual property disputes, aircraft financing and leasing, and litigation before various courts and tribunals in Pakistan. He has advised clients in the energy, construction, pharmaceutical, aviation, insurance, financial services, and consumer sectors, and is familiar with Pakistan's arbitration framework, including the Arbitration Act 1940 and the Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitral Awards) Act 2011.

Babar holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and is enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council, licensed to practise before the High Court and Subordinate Courts of Pakistan. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), having completed CIArb's Module One assessments in International Arbitration and Construction Adjudication, and adheres to the CIArb Code of Professional and Ethical Conduct. He has contributed articles published by the International Bar Association, and is fluent in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.
