Alexander Samuel Paruhum (“Alex”) is a dispute resolution lawyer with broad experience across international arbitration, civil and criminal defense litigation, intellectual property disputes, and complex corporate matters. Alex holds both a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) and a Master of Laws (M.H.) from Universitas Indonesia, one of Indonesia’s most prestigious universities.

Alex has extensive experience representing and advising clients in complex disputes before all levels of the Indonesian courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions. His experience includes high-profile cross-border matters, where he has assisted domestic and international clients in navigating commercial, investment, and regulatory challenges, while developing strategic and commercially focused legal solutions.

Aside from his Associate Membership in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Alex is a licensed attorney under the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI), affirming his qualifications to appear before Indonesian courts.
