Personal bio
Shadi Daigham Qusus is a senior Civil Engineer and Construction/Project Management professional with over 20 years of experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure, public transport, and government projects across Qatar and Jordan, in line with international standards.
He currently serves as Construction Manager within the Technical Office and Public Transport Affairs Department at the Ministry of Transport – State of Qatar, where he provides technical advisory support at ministerial level and contributes to strategic planning, policy development, and the delivery of high-value national projects. His responsibilities include project evaluation, preparation of bidding and consultancy documents, stakeholder coordination, and oversight of complex construction programs.
Shadi holds internationally recognized professional certifications, including PMP®, PMI-RMP®, ACIArb, UPDA Grade (A), and Professional Engineer (PE – Project Management), and is an accredited expert in construction and engineering contracts. His expertise spans project and construction management, contracts administration, risk and cost management, claims and disputes resolution, and FIDIC, BOT, and PPP contractual frameworks.
He played a key role in Qatar’s Public Transport Bus Infrastructure Program, contributing to major milestones, including the achievement of a Guinness World Record in 2022 for the world’s largest electric bus depot. His career also includes consultancy work with the World Bank and senior leadership roles within government entities, managing nationally and internationally funded development projects.
Known for his analytical, structured, and results-driven approach, he combines strategic leadership with strong technical capabilities to support informed decision-making and the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects.
