Personal bio

Peter is a lawyer (qualified in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) with a particular focus on international arbitration and dispute resolution. He has experience of international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration as well as other forms of dispute resolution including court proceedings, mediation and adjudication. Peter also has experience of conducting investigations and assisting clients on contentious regulatory matters.

Peter has worked for clients in the energy, resources, commodities, construction and infrastructure sectors and also has experience of multiple technology and financial services related matters. In addition, Peter is an experienced advocate who regularly appears before international tribunals, making oral submissions and performing cross examination. Peter also sits as an arbitrator and has experience of arbitrations conducted under the ICC Rules, SIAC Rules, ICSID Rules, UNCITRAL Rules, LCIA Rules, HKIAC Rules and JCAA Rules. Peter is also a Member of the JCAA User Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ).
