A techno-legal expert with 22 years of experience, has directed numerous large-scale projects such as mixed-use hospitality, hospitals, educational institutions, residential & commercial complexes, industrial facilities, and infrastructure development from initiation to completion for government entities, corporates, developers, public listed companies, engineering consultants, and main contractors in multi-cultural environments across Oman, Saudi Arabia, and India.

Registered as an Arbitrator and Expert Witness on the rosters of Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre, focusing on contentious and non-contentious disputes related to construction and infrastructure projects.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

Arbitration: Proficient in substantive and procedural laws necessary for conducting both ad-hoc and institutional arbitration adhering to guidelines established by UNCITRAL, CIArb and IBA.

Expert Witness: specialising in contentious and non-contentious disputes related to contractual interpretations; claims concerning delays, disruptions, prolongations, variations, defective works, suspensions, terminations, professional negligence.

Audit & Evaluation: Perform project audits that encompass cost, schedule, contracts, quality, risks, and governance. Review project controls and approval mechanisms, evaluate project health, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and suggest corrective measures.

Claims: involves preparing, defending, negotiating, and settling various contentious, non-contentious claims and counterclaims related to delays, disruptions, prolongation, acceleration and quantum.

Commercial: entails developing client requirements, creating cost plans, qualitative and quantitative risks, value engineering, tender evaluations and negotiations, post-contract administration, work valuations, and financial control.
