Personal bio
As a seasoned legal academic, attorney and mediator with over two decades of multidisciplinary experience, I bring a deep commitment to advancing justice, education, and peaceful dispute resolution across industries and borders.
I have worked as an Associate Attorney in a leading law firm and now serve as an Assistant Professor in the Bachelor of Laws Program at the University of The Bahamas. I have designed engaging courses that empower the next generation of legal professionals and specialize in teaching Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Contract Law, Family Law and Intellectual Property.
In parallel with my academic work, I am a Certified Mediator with specialized credentials in commercial, family and workplace mediation. Trained in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, I bring a global perspective to my practice. I have also served as a Course Director for Mediation & Arbitration contributing significantly to shaping mediation training across borders.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a Director of the International and Western Hemisphere, Arbitration and Adjudication and Mediation Center (IWHAAM), I remain at the forefront of international best practices in dispute resolution.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate on projects that advance access to justice and promote culturally relevant mediation solutions across borders.
