Akeel Hussain is a seasoned Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager with over a decade of experience in the construction industry, working across a diverse range of projects with leading employers, consultants, and contractors in the United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka. He holds a master's degree in construction projects management, bachelor's degree in quantity surveying and possesses a strong academic and professional foundation in commercial and contract management.
Akeel is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
His project portfolio spans mixed-use developments, residential and hospitality projects, MEP works, airport infrastructure, landscaping, and interior fit-outs. Akeel’s key areas of expertise include project procurement, tendering, contract documentation, cost management, estimation, dispute resolution, claims management, value engineering, and contract administration—covering both pre- and post-contract phases.
