Personal bio
I am an Attorney at Law and Partner at WALLESS with over 20 years of experience advising local and international clients on complex disputes and high-stakes commercial matters. I am consistently recognised in leading legal directories, including Chambers & Partners (Band 1) and Legal 500 (Leading Partner).
My practice focuses on dispute resolution, spanning litigation and domestic and international arbitration. Over the past decade, I have acted both as counsel and arbitrator in civil and commercial arbitration proceedings. My work also encompasses construction, public procurement, environmental and energy law, where regulatory and contractual disputes frequently arise.
I am an appointed member of the ICSID Panels of Conciliators and Arbitrators (representing Latvia), a delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, and a member (MCIArb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. I am also a listed arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
