Personal bio

Mr. Davidson has over 30 years of both labor union leadership and management executive experience including service as a union member and elected council officer as well as a senior airline executive in the domestic US and international airline industry. Highly suited for labor panels where contract and disciplinary issues are a main focus. Additionally, being experienced in the important aspects of contract negotiation, seniority integration and wages/hours of service issues, provides an unusual breadth of knowledge on the needs of both "sides" of the table in dispute resolution.

Formal Arbitration training was undertaken at Cornell University in 2009-2010 in the Scheinman School of Conflict Resolution, and was selected for the inaugural class of the Labor Arbitrator Development Program - a course that focuses on the improvement of labor arbitrator skills via a blend of academic and practical experience and is facilitated by senior AAA and private labor arbitrators.

As an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIarb), has experience in aspects of international arbitration cases as an observer and panel member. Additionally, has been admitted as a Public Arbitrator with the US Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA) panel of Arbitrators dealing with securities industry customer and employer/employee contractual dispute resolution. Also serves on the US National Mediation Board's Labor Arbitrators Panel, Labor Panel Member of the US Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and the Arbitration Panel of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
