Vera Lu is a Partner at Tian Yuan Law Firm (Guangzhou) with over 16 years of experience in civil and commercial law, specializing in cross-border dispute resolution, award enforcement, and arbitration (construction & finance). She is recognized for her meticulous approach and successful representation of clients in high-stakes litigation before the Supreme Court and High Court, with most cases exceeding RMB 100 million in value.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Vera is an appointed arbitrator for multiple arbitration commissions, including Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Jiangmen. She actively contributes to the legal community as Deputy Director of the Belt and Road Legal Practice Committee (Guangzhou Lawyers Association) and Supervisor of the Guangzhou Nansha District Cross-border Credit Promotion Association.
Vera’s international expertise includes advising Chinese clients on outbound investment risks, CFIUS reviews, and cross-border transactions, as well as guiding them through international arbitration procedures. She holds an LL.M. from Jinan University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
