Kerem is a Senior Associate in the Arbitration and Disputes team based in the firm’s Muscat office. He advises client’s on English and Oman law.

He is a qualified Barrister (England & Wales) and has extensive advocacy experience in interlocutory hearings, trials and appeals before the English Courts; arbitral tribunals and in mediations.

He has over a decade of experience in practicing in all forms of dispute resolution, varying from arbitration, litigation, adjudication, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Kerem has represented clients on disputes arising from foreign investment, joint ventures & partnerships, construction, engineering, energy & natural resources, professional negligence and PPP projects. He is familiar with most common standard forms of contracts used in England and the Gulf region.

Before moving to Muscat, Kerem practiced as a Barrister in London; and before that as a Solicitor-Advocate & Disputes Partner in a London based law firm focusing on advocacy and management of disputes. He was regularly involved in evaluating evidence and liability, preparing pleadings, providing advisory opinions and strategic support on disputes. He has worked as both sole and co-counsel.

Since moving to Oman, Kerem has represented Omani ministries and entities, Omani commercial companies as well as foreign investors and individuals in disputes throughout the Gulf region.
