Personal bio
I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in handling all aspects of Quantity Surveying as well as Adjudications and Arbitrations relative to construction contracts. I have analysed, assessed, and resolved several time and cost claims under SBD and FIDIC contract forms, achieving equitable outcomes that satisfied the parties.
I have been involved with Adjudication and Arbitration and have acted as a consul/consultant for several contractors and consultants in their Adjudications and Arbitrations. I have been appointed as the sole Arbitrator and a member of the Arbitral Tribunal in two ongoing Arbitrations.
Further, I am a visiting lecturer in Dispute Management in the courses of study leading to a B.Sc. (Hon) in Quantity Surveying and M.Sc. (Construction Law and Dispute Resolution) conducted by the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and a B.Tech. in Quantity Surveying conducted by the University of Vocational Technology of Sri Lanka.
