25 years construction and engineering arbitration and litigation experience including professional negligence actions and several international arbitrations as a solicitor. Prior to that y6ears experience in medical negligence and Privy Council Appeals followed by a further 6 years in local government where I gained experience in arbitration, one being the public arbitration between the Greater London Council and Test Valley Borough Council.
As an arbitrator dealing with numerous domestic and international arbitrations mostly construction, commercial and professional referrals.
Visiting Professor in International Dispute Resolution at BPP University College, London and also Module Leader in International Commercial Arbitration at the University of East London.
Contributor to History of the Technology and Construction Court dealing with the case management experiments carried out by Sir Francis Newbolt in the early 1920s.
Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Department of International Relations (Security and Statecraft Cluster) London School of Economics undertaking research for latest book on the inter-war period and the failure of diplomacy and dispute processes under the Treaty of Versailles to be published in 2025.
Author of several professional books on expert evidence, construction litigation, arbitration and partnerships disputes.
