Ms Susan Munro Solicitor England & Wales, Barrister (non-practicing) Hong Kong

Susan Munro has represented clients as counsel and sat as an arbitrator in connection with disputes regarding cross border investments and commercial contracts in mainland China, the Hong Kong SAR, the Asian region, the US and the UK for more than 25 years. She is called to the Bars of England & Wales and the Hong Kong SAR, is a solicitor in England & Wales, and she has extensive knowledge of PRC law. She was the Managing Partner of a US law firm in Beijing for 10 years and has completed ten-year stints as a lawyer in each of Shanghai and Hong Kong. Currently she is Co-Chair of the IPBA Anti-Corruption and Rule of Law Committee and Co-Chair of the Amcham China Legal Affairs Committee. She was formerly Co-Chair of the ICC Belt & Road Commission and currently is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. Ms. Munro has degrees in Chinese (School of Oriental and African Studies, London, and Fudan University, Shanghai, and Law (Manchester Metropolitan University).
