Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), and construction disputes specialist with over 23 years of international experience across major infrastructure, rail, transportation, real estate, hospitality, and giga-project developments throughout the Middle East.
Recognised for providing independent quantum, commercial, and contractual expertise in complex construction and engineering disputes, with extensive experience in the preparation and evaluation of claims relating to prolongation costs, variations, disruption, loss of productivity, escalation, and damages. Regularly engaged in arbitration, adjudication, dispute boards, and expert determination proceedings involving high-value and technically complex projects.
Acting as an Independent Quantum Expert and Expert Witness, I have prepared expert reports and advisory opinions under various dispute resolution frameworks, including ICC, LCIA, DIAC, and ad hoc proceedings. My appointments have involved the assessment of quantum entitlement, forensic review of project records, valuation of claims, and expert analysis of contractual and commercial issues arising from major construction projects.
My professional experience encompasses contract administration, commercial management, procurement strategy, claims and dispute resolution, final account settlement, risk management, and forensic quantum analysis. I have advised employers, contractors, consultants, and legal counsel on matters involving FIDIC, NEC, JCT, and bespoke forms of contract.
Notable appointments include involvement in significant international arbitration proceedings, including ICC Case No. 27932/KFH, where I provided independent quantum expertise in accordance with internationally recognised standards of expert evidence.
I maintain strict independence, impartiality, and professional integrity in all appointments and adhere to the ethical and professional requirements of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and the International Bar Association (IBA) Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest and Expert Evidence.
