I am dual qualified as a Family Finance and Children ILFA registered Arbitrator for 8 plus years.
I have been instructed in numerous family law arbitrations and particularly in cases where the family seeks to have all contested issues following family breakdown (involving child arrangements and financial issues following the separation) dealt with and determined by one adjudicator.
I am also a highly experienced Family Law Barrister in private practice since 1990. I have always practiced in private children work and financial remedies work. I am based at 1GC|Family Law which is one of the leading exclusively family law sets in London.
The facilities at 1GC|Family Law (in Lincoln's Inn Fields) are outstanding and we have extensive NCDR accommodation.
I am regularly instructed as a pFDR evaluator in financial remedies cases and also to provide Early Neutral Evaluation in children disputes. I am able to encourage and achieve a high rate of settlement in both finance and children cases.
I sit as a Recorder in both Children and Financial Remedies work on teh South Eastern Circuit.
I am also a Mediator (FMA) working towards Accreditation. I carry out in person and on line mediations and also hybrid (or lawyer assisted) mediations.
I have been cited as a Leading Junior in both Family Finance and Children work in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 Legal Directories for the past 8 plus years and am highly recommended as a leading junior for NCDR work.
I won Legal 500 Family Law Junior of the Year in 2024 and was nominated in 2023.
