Personal bio
I am a qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years' experience in cost and project management, procurement (across all types), due diligence and expert witness. I have worked on projects across Ireland, UK and wider European region on a diverse range of sectors including commercial, retail, residential/accommodation, hotel and leisure, health care, educational, hi-tech pharmaceutical, manufacturing, infrastructure and data centre projects and programmes.
Recently, I have expanded my skillset and learning through completion of the Diploma in Construction Law at Law Society or Ireland and most recently the Diploma in Arbitration at UCD Sutherland School of Law culminating in membership of Chartered institute of Arbitrators to enable me to support clients and peers in the procurement/contracting, claims and dispute resolution and expert witness spheres where my experience and detail oriented skillsets will add most value.
I have worked with clients and peers on the whole gamut of dispute resolution processes available ranging from Mediation, Dispute Boards, Conciliation, Adjudication, Arbitration and Litigation.
I have assisted clients in the preparation of claims, counterclaims and responses across a wide range of sectors in the construction industry and am anxious to use this wide ranging experience in the administration and implementation of arbitration as a dispute resolution methodology to achieve resolution between disputing parties.
