Personal bio
Samer Samir Harb, FCIArb, is a dual-qualified lawyer (Lebanon; England and Wales) with over twenty years of experience in litigation and both national and international arbitration. He holds an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London and a Master’s degree in Private Law from La Sagesse University, Beirut.
He has extensive experience across the full arbitration lifecycle, including arbitral proceedings, recognition and enforcement of awards, and set-aside proceedings before national courts.
Samer has in-depth expertise in disputes across a wide range of sectors, including construction and infrastructure, real estate and property development, banking and finance, insurance, commercial contracts and distribution, corporate and M&A matters, transportation and logistics, intellectual property-related contractual matters, and insolvency and enforcement disputes.
He is available for appointment as arbitrator in both international and domestic disputes, offering a combined common law and civil law perspective, a strong commitment to procedural efficiency and fairness, and specialized insight into insolvency and enforcement matters through his role as a Bankruptcy Trustee in Lebanon.
