Niklas van Doorne is a mediator who treats conflict as something held in bodies, relationships and systems.
For more than a decade in some of the world's most acute conflict settings, from South Sudan to Iraq, he has built a practice of conflict transformation that draws on trauma-informed care, group dynamics, organisational development, ecological awareness and Nonviolent Communication.
Niklas' mediation practice is deeply restorative: durable agreement begins with what can be said and how much commitment is aligned with capacity.
He helps parties who struggle to find common ground in expanding the space of what can be said, and focuses on restoring connection and arriving at solutions that work for everyone.
