I am a Vietnamese qualified lawyer with broad experience in alternative dispute resolution, real estate, data protection, M&A, joint ventures, e-commerce, litigation and general corporate advisory, advising domestic and international client.
Experience
Corporate and Property:
- Acted as general legal counsel in a joint venture between Vietnamese, Singapore, Taiwanese and Japanese partners specialized in property development in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), with the significant total capital investment over US$342 million.
- Served as legal counsel in a joint venture between Vietnamese and Hong Kong partners in developing and operating an e-commerce platform.
- Advised a leading real estate corporation in the acquisition of a property developer owning a residential project in Nha Be District, HCMC backed by large foreign real estate investment trusts (REITs).
- Advised foreign investors in the acquisition of a property project with 30 ha of land by direct transfer from a major local developer.
Dispute Resolution:
- Advised Phu My Hung Development Corporation in a high-value lawsuit concerning mortgage and land lease contracts of a commercial building in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) with a dispute amount over US$7 million.
- Advised and represented Phu My Hung Development Corporation in a dispute regarding a lease agreement at VIAC.
- Advised and represented a leading property developer in lawsuit concerning apartment sale and purchase agreements with customers.
- Advised and assisted Star-light Company Limited in a shareholders’ dispute at VIAC.
