Personal bio
I am a British citizen based in London, holding an LLB and LLM in International Arbitration from the University of Law, London (UK). My LLM dissertation focused on Foreign Investment in International Law, reflecting my research interest in cross-border trade, investment protection, and arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism.
From 2001 to 2007, I served as Executive Officer in several international companies engaged in shipping, general trading, and the export and sale of oil across the Middle East. During this period, I was directly involved in multiple commercial disputes, which provided me with practical exposure to negotiation, settlement, and arbitration proceedings.
My academic expertise in arbitration and foreign investment law, combined with hands-on experience managing international commercial disputes, enables me to bridge legal theory with commercial realities in complex cases.
