Personal bio
Raymond Odion Okohue, BL, LL.M, MCIArb is a Nigerian legal practitioner and military legal officer with professional interests in international dispute resolution, arbitration, and public international law. He currently serves as a Captain in the Nigerian Army and has held several legal and administrative roles including Legal Officer, Brigade Legal Officer, and Acting Assistant Director Legal at the Defence Research and Development Bureau.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Ambrose Alli University and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing the programme at the Nigerian Law School. He also holds a Master of Laws in International Law and Diplomacy from Nasarawa State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in International Law and Diplomacy, with research focusing on the legal evaluation of diplomatic asylum and extradition in Nigeria.
Raymond is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has a strong interest in arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, and international legal frameworks relating to diplomacy, security, and peacekeeping operations.
