Personal bio

Master Mariner with over two decades of experience across seagoing command and shore-based senior management roles, including service as DPA and Marine Superintendent.

My professional background is centred on safety leadership, operational governance, and risk management within complex maritime environments, supported by extensive involvement in audits, incident investigations, and fleet operations.

I analyse maritime incidents and operational decisions with a focus on how they translate into claims, disputes, and evidentiary positions, combining practical onboard experience with structured assessment of technical facts.

As an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), I maintain a growing interest in maritime dispute analysis and the interface between operational reality and formal dispute resolution processes.

My approach is grounded in objective, evidence-based evaluation, aiming to support clear understanding of events and balanced technical perspectives in maritime matters.
