Stuart Bosley is an international testifying expert, senior executive and commercial adviser with over 25 years of experience across construction, engineering, infrastructure and major capital programmes.
He is currently Senior Partner at TXM Consult, where he leads Commercial Advisory, Dispute Resolution and Expert Services, advising clients, contractors and legal teams on complex contractual matters, commercial risk, claims and contentious proceedings across the UK and international markets.
Stuart is personally instructed as an independent expert in substantial construction and infrastructure disputes, specialising in quantum, disruption, prolongation, loss and expense, contract performance and the assessment of complex commercial claims. His experience includes providing oral expert evidence under cross-examination by leading King's Counsel in international dispute proceedings in London.
His professional experience combines technical commercial expertise with extensive executive leadership. Having founded, developed and successfully sold an international consultancy, Stuart subsequently held Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer appointments within international engineering and private equity-backed businesses. This background provides a distinctive perspective on dispute resolution, recognising not only the contractual and evidential considerations but also the wider financial, operational and commercial consequences for the parties involved.
He has advised on some of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes, including HS2 and Transport for Wales, alongside international assignments across Europe, the Middle East and the United States. His expertise encompasses NEC, FIDIC and other major contractual frameworks, with particular emphasis on commercial governance, dispute avoidance, expert determination and the independent assessment of financial claims.
Stuart is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Freeman of the City of London, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors and an invited Leadership Fellow of St George's House, Windsor Castle.
