Personal bio
Nathan has law degrees from Oxford (MA) and Cambridge (LLM PhD), where he was a scholar. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Gray’s Inn, and practised as a barrister from Quadrant Chambers in London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a Senior Fellow of the University of Lincoln. Nathan led the Law Commission's review of arbitration law, and assisted in the passage through Parliament of the Arbitration Act 2025.
