Dr. Ömer Kesikli is a Turkish lawyer and founding partner of Kesikli Law Firm, an Istanbul-based legal practice specializing in corporate, construction, energy, and dispute resolution matters. With more than 20 years of legal experience, he is widely recognized for his expertise in real estate, construction and energy law, and has been ranked by Legal 500 EMEA as a leading individual in these fields for over a decade.
His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, construction and EPC projects, joint ventures, privatizations, energy law, public and private tender law, and foreign investments. He
regularly advises domestic and international clients on dispute strategy, risk allocation, and contractual frameworks arising from complex commercial and infrastructure projects. Before establishing his firm, he served as an in-house legal advisor at Unit International S.A. and Zorlu Energy Group, where he was actively involved in major international EPC projects, tenders, privatizations, and energy-sector transactions.
In the field of international commercial arbitration, Dr. Kesikli acts as counsel and party-appointed arbitrator.
Dr. Kesikli holds a Ph.D., an LL.M., and has built a distinguished career combining transactional, regulatory, and dispute resolution expertise across complex cross-border projects, corporate and commercial matters.
